Chesterfield, September 4th 2006 - Silverworks Digital Media Limited announces the move into brand new offices at Tapton Park Innovation Centre. The state of the art offices in Chesterfield are specifically designed for new media companies who are growing quickly.
Tapton Park Innovation Centre is situated in the grounds of George Stephenson's house and parkland, offering views of the landscaped grounds and the countryside beyond.
The purpose of Tapton Park Innovation Centre is to stimulate innovation and the establishment of technology and knowledge based businesses within the community. The centre can accommodateover 35 companies and this lively, thriving business environment will provide many opportunities for the interchange of ideas among all the businesses.
The centre, funded by Chesterfield Borough Council, North Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce and North Derbyshire TEC has been built in the parkland grounds of the home of one of the country's great inventors - George Stephenson. His house now forms part of the Chesterfield College Campus housing their technology and higher education courses.
